Olivewood

JSDH article page 171
Olivewood was the home of Warren and Flora Kimball at 24th and E Avenue, and its Olivewood Lunch Parlor was a popular stop for the NC&O excursion trains. The Kimball house is gone, but the Olivewood Club House still stands. The Kimball land became government housing during WWII, and in 1966 the AFL/CIO Building Trades Corporation built the National City Park Apartments.
