All members of the USD community are invited to join the NROTC Unit in the "pledge of allegiance" at 11:45 am, Wednesday, September 11, 2002, in front of Maher Hall at the campus flag pole. The pledge will be led by an NROTC Midshipman.

All members of the USD community are invited to the Prayer Service and Memorial Dedication at the Institute for Peace and Justice Plaza, at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, September 11, 2002. The Memorial, designed by USD Fine Arts Professor David B. Smith, is in remembrance of those who died on September 11th.

"The Year After: Political and International Repercussions of 9/11" is a forum by USD faculty experts in American politics and international relations who will discuss the aftermath of the terrorist attacks, at the Institute for Peace and Justice Auditorium, 2:20 PM to 3:45 PM, Wednesday, September 11, 2002

"Hate Crimes, Immigration, Education and Race Relations: Post September 11th" is a panel discussion presented by the Institute for Peace and Justice and the City of San Diego's Human Relations Commission, at the Institute for Peace and Justice Auditorium, 6:00 PM to 8:15 PM, Wednesday, September 11, 2002.

"Candelight Memorial Mass" service for students will be in Founders Chapel, Founders Hall, at 9:00 PM, Wednesday, September 11, 2002.
