Feb. 9 - Kitchener to send 29th Division to Salonika.

Feb. 22 - British adviser Admiral Troubridge gave British guns for Serb river defense of Belgrade.

Mar. 30 - Allied Danube Blockade sunk Austrian steamer Belgrade.

Apr. 1 - Brit. 3rd Serbian Relief Fund surgical unit arrived in Serbia to reat 48,000 typhus victims.

Apr. 26 - 3 Austrian corps trannsferred to italian front; German divisions replace Austrian on Serbian front.

May 23 - Italy entered war against Austria.

Aug. 1 - Falkenhayn planned offensive to occupy Serbia.

Aug. 5 - French appoint Gen. Sarrail head of Army of the Orient.

Sept. 6 - Germany, Austria, Bulgaria signed military convention for joint attack on Serbia.

Oct. 6 - Invasion of Serbia began, led by Mackensen's 11th Army.

Oct. 14 - French 57th Div. landed at Salonika.

Oct. 21 - French battle Bulgarian 2nd Army in south Serbia.

Nov. 5 - Bulgarian 1st Army took Nis, opened railroad to Turkey.

Nov. 18 - Sarrail returned to Salonika, would not fight 400,000 Central Power troops in Serbia.

Nov. 23 - 200,000 Serbs began epic retreat to the Adriatic.

Dec. 6 - Albanian leader Essad Pasha agreed to help Allies evacuate Serbs, but Arnauten tribesmen take revenge on Serbs for 1912 Balkan War.

Dec. 12 - Allied ships, most from italy, evacuated Serbs to Corfu.
