9/28/02 - Recording Technology History selected by the National Science Digital Library Report for Math, Engineering, and Technology biweekly issue of September 27, 2002 of the most useful Internet resources, considering the depth of content, the authority of the source, and how well the information is maintained and presented. The Internet Scout Project is an NSF- and Mellon-sponsored organization based in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

7/10/02 - The History Department web pages have been included in the Best of History Web Sites portal to history resources online.

1/24/02 - Versailles Treaty pages selected by the British Academy, the United Kingdom's national Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences, for its directory web site, PORTAL, designed as an entry point to academic resources available online for researchers working in higher education.

3/30/01 - World War II Maps was selected as a featured site by StudyWeb.

1/4/01 - Recording Technology History selected as a "Best of the Web" entry at Rootster.Com a new cultural database dedicated to words, art and music.
